An RSS reader grabs the new RSS posts, just like your email reader goes and gets emails from your email server. This is a form of PUSH technology, in which your content is pushed to the client.
Blog Directories

One can go to the blog directory page to find information that may be held on one of many blogs. It’s like an index for blogs…as long as you add your blog to it. Some blog catalogs (directories) as as follows:
Once you have created 10-15 blog sites and added them to 5-10 blog directories, you will have the ability to get your message out to a lot of people with only a few posts.
