Just about everyone who uses the Internet has heard of MySpace, Facebook, and some of the many other Social Networking web sites. A social network is a social structure made of nodes (which are generally individuals or organizations) that are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as values, visions, idea, financial exchange, friends, kinship, dislike, conflict, trade, web links, sexual relations, disease transmission (epidemiology), or airline routes. As it pertains to web site promotion, a social networking site can help you in several ways. If you provide resolution to the issues others are facing in your same field, you will be considered to be an expert. You can do this by sharing experiences with other by posting to their blogs, participating in forum discussions, and commenting on the posts others leave. Add useful content to your page(s) and dress them up in a clean, but interesting manner (templates, etc). You can get more people connected to you by using social network marketing to promote your business-related contacts. There are many clients out in the social network arena. By participating in other people discussion you can get more business contacts.
