The Little-Known Secrets of Changing Blog Engines
I thought this post would be timely because I am planning to move this blog from BlogEngine.NET over to WordPress. All of my other blogs are on WordPress and it has some plug-in-based features that I like.
If you change blog engines, make sure you 301-redirect your posts to their new location, or you will lose users when they get continual 404s.

301 redirect is good. .htaccess file is probably a better solution, but 301 will get the job done quite efficiently if I must say so myself
